Hey all! It’s Monday and a super exciting week for us. Elisabeth is flying tomorrow to London and I will follow her on Thursday, in order to attend the Amara Interior Blog Awards at the prestigious Marylebone One! So, there’s just enough time for me to squeeze in a couple of posts for this week, starting with our fitness motivation. This time, Elisabeth and I got together with Ifiyenia, on film, for a partner workout routine. Oh yes! The actual exercises are harder than they look (I’m not sure if you’ll be able to tell how I struggle with some), but we still had plenty of laughs and a lot more bloopers, that you can all watch at the end of the video… Elisabeth and I are not pros, so be nice now with your feedback!
This at home workout routine includes six exercises. No equipment is needed other than two yoga mats. The first exercise targets the core muscles, the biceps and triceps. (Both Elisabeth and I were sore for the next two days due to this exercise, but it was well worth it). Among the exercises there are some pelvic lifts that help tone the glute muscles, while the back exercise and the abs focus again on strengthening the core.
There is another workout you could try out with a partner that combines Yoga with Pilates or Yogilates. It will also make you sweat, but it’s well worth it.
