Yes!! The weekend is finally here. It’s the perfect time to get away, to unwind and spent time with loved ones. Personally, I want to spend as many hygge moments as I possibly can. I’m thinking of lit candles in our fireplace, hot chocolate and staying tucked under a throw, for as long as I can, chatting away about this and that. What are your plans? And how many of you have already decorated for Halloween? Our American friends probably already have done so. Our European friends though maybe not. In Greece Halloween isn’t popular. As a matter of fact, most people haven’t even heard of it. Still though, I’m quite tempted to have a shot at carving a big pumpkin and make a jack-o-lantern. My son is probably going to love that, getting messy and all. The thought of cleaning up afterwards is a bit of a drawback, but I won’t know if it’s worth it or not unless I try it out.  Anyhow, I’ve handpicked some great links from the web that make a good reading including a video with some of the most terrifying tortillas; they’re perfect for this season.

Food is something closely related to a lot of cultures. Here’s an interesting list with the world’s 18 greatest cities for food.

Of course nature is looking so great now. This is a collection of some gorgeous pictures to celebrate the arrival of fall.

Also, have a look at the top 10 European gardens. Quite stunning and inspiring!

You won’t believe these 10 epic Middle Earth locations that really exist in New Zealand. I guess that’s one more reason why New Zealand is a dream destination for so many people including myself. 🙂

Are any of you considering a hair color change? Well, these are the 4 fall hair color trends taking over Instagram.

Popping the question is a bit awkward for a lot of men. Doing so in a unique way is a tough one. This man proposed to his girlfriend by hanging artwork in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Not bad, huh? Definitely unique!

Last but not least, the terrifying tortillas. I think they’re just the right thing for Halloween!

I hope you enjoy yourselves no matter what you do! XO…
