The Yellow Fever in Fashion & Decor

The Yellow Fever in Fashion & Decor

Is yellow the new black? Well I sure hope not! But having said that, I can surely appreciate a few happy yellow splashes or accents with regards to both fashion and home decor. I guess moody times call for some drastic measures and yellow is the up-and-coming color for just the job! Since mustard yellow was such a huge trend setter this winter, it’s kind of natural for yellow to follow next. Now, I’m not a great fan of mustard or yellow. However, it can look good (if done properly) and it does have an organic quality that even I can’t ignore! Therefore, it’s no wonder that the yellow color trend fever is growing. But enough said, I’ll let the following fashion images do all the convincing. So get ready to embrace it! Note that I’ve included a few home decor images with yellow details as well, just to show you that yellow and its glow can add a modern edge in an interior! Besides, if a color is trending in design then it’s also trending in fashion, or is it the other way around?! 😉

Do you feel the sunshine yet? Now, even if you don’t want to go for a total yellow look, you can always add in a splash of sunshine mellow yellow via an accessory like a pair of XL yellow tassel earrings, a clutch, or pair of mules. At the end of the day, it’s all about having a sunny attitude!

Wear yellow and smile on, xx
